ALTEA PEARL ON THE COSTA BLANCA

Altea, on the Costa Blanca, is known to be the best place for spending the winter in the whole of Europe. Apart from its wonderful climate this authentic picturesque Spanish town offers many attractions. For example, its miles-long boulevard along the Mediterranean Sea with many lovely restaurants, pavement cafe's, beautiful and trendy shops. At the top of the hill on the famous Church square, concerts are given, art fairs are held.

The hinterland is interesting with quaint towns. Quadelest for example. Orchards with sweet smelling orange trees, with almond and olive trees. Benidorm is only 10 miles away, with its long sandy beaches and endless water-sport possibilities. There are disco's, bars and restaurants. Between Altea and Benidorm lies "Terra Mitica", a very interesting theme-park and an absolute must for all ages. Alicante with its beautiful palm-lined boulevards is only half an hour drive away. Valencia with its many museums and lovely inner city is just a little further.

The "Lemon Express" a sweet slow old fashioned train, goes from Alicante to Denia and back, with beautiful views on the Mediterranean Sea. The island of Ibiza is within easy reach by boat.

There are many more interesting sights in and around Altea. Not the least of these is one of the most beautiful Golf-courses on the Costa Blanca, "Golf Don Cayo". Its on the edge of this Golf-course "Don Cayo" that you will find the two very comfortable bungalows, one for 2-4 persons and one for 6 persons. They share a swimming pool. Both bungalows have all modern conveniences and a wonderful view on the golf-course, they are situated close to the  Mediterranean Sea, in the quiet, green and child friendly surroundings.
